Zafar Mahmood Abbasi

==Naval career==
Abbasi joined Pakistan Navy in 1976 as a Naval Cadet after receiving an admission at the Pakistan Naval Academy. In 1980, he gained his B.Sc. in Economics and later went to the United Kingdom, where he attended Britannia Royal Naval College at Dartmouth.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Maritime Security Agency )〕 In 1981, upon his return, he was given commissioned in the Navy as Sub-Lieutenant. He was also conferred with Sword of Honor at the Pakistan Naval Academy. In 1984, Abassi did his specialization in Underwater Warfare from Submarine School of the Pakistan Naval Submarine Service Branch, and another course in Surface Warfare from United States Naval Academy〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Rear Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi SI(M) )〕 In 1989, he attended the Royal Australian Naval College where he did B.Sc. in War studies and a M.Sc. in War and Strategic studies National Defence University.
